Hello everyone. Recently I had pulled my trans out of my blazer and replaced a blown frost plug. Once I got the trans back in and everything done up (yes it was done in such a manner that nothing should've screwed up). My Shifter on my steering column no longer puts the vehicle in park. I have to set the ebrake, crawl underneath the vehicle to push the linkage forward and into park. On top of that. My forward gears aren't working properly. From a standstill it seems like I'm starting in 2nd gear. I basically floor it just to get moving. And once I'm moving will not shift out of second gear. 100 km/hr (62mph) at 3000 rpm? Hmmm 🤔. Any advice on where to start with my forward gear problem?

 

Also... The soft metal bracket for the Shifter on the steering column broke at some point of me taking trans out, replacing frost plug and putting trans back in.
