4wd Computer and 2wd Transmission

4wd Computer and 2wd Transmission
So I have a 1997 4wd blazer. The stock transmission is a 4L60e with the transfer case and all. If I wanted to go with a 2wd 4L60e and get rid of the transfer case, would everything be still work fine. Or would the Blazer's 4wd computer not recognize a 2wd transmission?
