95 jimmy stalling won't start

95 jimmy stalling won't start

hey all i got a stumper i am really needing some help with. ok my 95 jimmy(i know i know but it is the same thing!) will start and run good for about 20 minutes or so but less if i am driving, like 7 or 8 small city blocks. then it will just die. stall out. and it won't start again until i let it cool down for an hour or so.i have been throwing part after part and dollor after dollar at this truck and it will not stay running. it used to stall out once in awhile but always on the same hill when i got bout half way down it would stall but i put it in nutral and it would start right up.it didn't doit all the time on the hill just ssometimes. other than that i never had the problem one with it! if anyone knows what this is please help me! heres everything i have tried so far:

basic tuneup(plugs,wires,rotor,distributor cap,oil change)
fuel filter
battery and terminals
engine coolant temperature sensor
ignition control modual (this was the only thing that made any difference at all.it ran good for one long trip...well for it's standards ... i made it around like 15 blocks and pulled up at home super happy it was driving and shut it off and it wouldn't start again for like an hour and so on it went.)

i am really sick of burning money here, i mean i don't so much mind because i am sure the parts could have used replaced it is an older truck,but it is getting a little rediculous. oh and it is a 4.3 vortec and it has 4 wheel drive. thanks for any help!!!
