Check fluid level and condition first. Try putting it in 4wd hi and low to see if it will move. Broken flex plate is also a possibility. Was it making any noises before it quit moving?

It will barely move in 4 low. I don't recall any noises but I was low on fluid. It's full now but still won't go.

Time to replace or rebuild transmission unfortunately. Good luck. Find out where you lost the fluid or you could damage the next transmission also.

When mine went out, I was having bad shifts with engine revving between engagements. It went from seeming to work to failing in about a week of puttering around town.

I learned it was one of the clutch packs that was going out. The symptoms were exactly like when the clutch went out in my manual transmission Honda Prelude.

I burned it out by towing a 2,200 lb trailer without a transmission cooler or a temperature gauge for the transmission fluid over a period of about 7 years.
