Well you have the EPC or electronic pressure control, you have a 1-2 shift solenoid the 3-2 control solenoid, the 2-3 shift solenoid, the TCC PWM shift solenoid and the TCC lockup solenoid.

Well...I changed 2 Solenoids today, and drained the transmission fluid, changed the transmission filter...and I am still having the same issue..Goes about 20 MPH, and never shifts out of first gear...Any other suggestions other than New Transmission or having to rebuild the transmission???

So had the transmission rebuilt couple weeks ago...Worked great for about 2 weeks or so...Then when taking a curve last night, I heard a noise that sounded like metal hitting metal, then the transmission started slipping again, and now when you put it in reverse it makes a whining noise, and doesn't go anywhere while in reverse, and while driving it you have to let off the gas at about 3000 RPMS before it shifts out of first and same when trying to switch from 2nd and so on...I took it back to the garage that rebuilt the transmission since it had a 6 month warranty on the rebuild...Any suggestions as to what could be causing this, would be greatly appreciated!

That sounds like the sunshell is stripped out - you've actually only got 1st and 3rd + the torque converter - thats why it revs up so high before it shifts - has to get up to a high enough speed before it'll let it shift into 3rd - when the torque converter locks in it can feel like an extra gear (the TC locks the engine to the wheels for fuel economy)

The local transmission shop here ALWAYS replaces the sunshell if they're going in for a rebuild because they're a known weak spot. Oh and they use 'The Beast' sunshell instead of the stock one (new stock ones are just as bad)

This is the one I got (before I knew my local shop used them) TCI Beast Automatic Transmission Sun Shells 373900 - SummitRacing.com

When you talk to them I'd say "its the sunshell isn't it?" (they should say yes - I'm 99% sure that's what it is) then I'd ask them to install a 'Beast' sunshell - If they don't know what one is, if it were me I'd just save everyone the aggravation, go buy the thing and say 'here use this'
