Ok i just got this blazer 3 days ago...so far i have noticed...the light for the 4hi 4lo and 2wd sometimes goes out dont think much of it or problem? the second thing i noticed was when i am stoping or coasting sometimes i hear something winding down like it isnt out of 4wd or sumething? *thought it might be related to the light going in and out randomly* and just recently i have noticed that the nav will light up when i put the key in and turn it forward but then will dissapear shortly after...and the radio works and plays but the time will not show until i turn the key off and havent opened the door yet...? i have not a clue on the last two...mabii fuse but i check both the radio ones and they seem fine...?

plzz help me fix these annoying problems!

 

1)The light = no problem. Most likely there is a loose connection at the light itself. It is also likely an easy fix. I am about to do the same to mine.
2)Don't know, check to see if it is in four wheel drive by spinning out on gravel or something with somebody watching. If it won't kick out of 4wd, then maybe the light thing is bigger than I thought.

The rest:
A blown fuse will just make your radio stop working. Maybe get the wiring diagrams for your radio, and see what's supposed to be happening. After you understand, start tracing the wires under different ignition positions. It is possible that a relay is screwing up.
Generally, besides the winding sound, they are likely just "electrical gremlins" that seem to accompany some older vehicles.

decided to upgrade headunit....found dimmer switch to be unpluged...issue solved...but stil hear a winding down sound when stoping seems like from front right side? not shure going to take to shop soon
