I have a first gen 4.3L.TBI currently hooked up to a 700R4
I wanna hook up a 5speed.
What model trans do I need?

And what parts do i need to swap outta the block in order for this to happen??

Any tech articles, pics, personal experiences are encouraged.

Hopefully there's a pick and pull junk yard near you. The 4.3 has the same bolt pattern as a small block Chevy. A full size pickup manual trans will bolt up. Your going to need to gather many parts from the donor truck. You'll need to know how to weld. The clutch pedal, tranny cross member, and drive shaft are all going to have to be fabricated/ welded.

I've seen people take full size Chevy trucks and drop Blazer bodies onto them for off roading monsters. Still a lot of welding/fabrication.

By "small block"
Do you mean a factory 350 that the full sizes come with??

Also will the 5 speed from a Camaro, (either V8 or V6) work??
Just curious...

look for a Nv3500. you'll need the driveshaft, crossmember, pedal, clutch cylinder, and the rest of the clutch/pressure plate etc. I might be missing something,as this is just the top of my head.
