Blazer misfire
Hello i have a 1995 blazer. My check engine is flashing and doesnt stop for a min or two then just stays on steady then after few mins it starts flashing again. its also hard to start when its cold but starts fine warm i just replaced the plugs and wires and also replaced the distirbriter cap because i notched the coil plug end was burned out and arcing . Now im hearing a buzzing ticking sound coming from my coil any ideas or anything ?
Start with testing fuel pressure. There is a link in the tech section for 95-04. It sounds like it might be lean so it's possible you'll end up finding the problem with a sensor such as throttle position sensor or timing. You're going to need to do some research and start troubleshooting so you can narrow it down.
The ticking sounds like you are losing spark at the coil. Maybe try running it at night and see if there is any arcing from the coil where you hear the noise. If its large enough you can see the arc.
