Have you tried using a spark plug socket with a built in swivel on it? Kinda like this?

I've broken my plugs before using a regular socket and this saved the day for me. Just need a 1 foot extension with the swivel socket and you should be able to get it out.

The tip of the plug broke off inside when it was running, not during removal.
