Can’t use overdrive?
For about a year now my 96 Blazer will not go while in overdrive. It will go in drive but barely. I can have my foot all the way to the floor and it takes forever for it to get up and go. If I have the A/C on it sounds like it’s taking all the air from it when I start off? Could this be my transmission going out or something else??

Gas usage
[i forgot to also mentioned since this happened it’s been using a ton of gas. I usually feel up twice a week if I’m driving to work everyday. We'll need more information about the symptoms and what has been checked and done so far.
Is the engine running smoothly? (starts normally, idles fine?)
Is the Blazer accelerating normally from standstill? (rpm just goes up a couple hundred before it pulls away?)
Are there any MIL lights? (SES or warning - how about OBDII codes?)
Are all the circuit breakers o.k?
Are all the liquids at the required level? (Especially ATF and correctly checked according manufacturer?)
Depending on your proficiency - check the transmission wiring for damage (WARNING: Use proper safety measures)
