Default cpi to carb swap

i have a 94 s10 tahoe edition 4.3cpi vortec with 230,000 miles. Motor and tranny still original. The spider is bad and i know the cpi injection systems aren't the greatest, so i was wondering what it would involve to convert it to carb. Will a tbi intake off a regular 4.3 fit on the vortec? And will it work for a carb? I know i need a maual fuel pressure regulator, but do i need to change the fuel pump? Any advice will help, thanks... I have searched the forum and couldnt find anything

It shouldn't be too difficult. I believe there are a few aftermarket intakes that will bolt on and change over to a 4-barrel carb. You will want to swap for an HEI style distributor as well to eliminate all of the electronics.

Check your local regulations first though. It may be against the law to do such a conversion.
