Default Engine swap

Hi everyone, this is my first post here since I've first registered about ten moths ago. I first must thank everyone here as I have received alot of assistance through your postings in the various forums, this site is great.

Now for my question, I have a 1999 Blazer with a knocking 4.3. I have located a 4.3 out of a 2000 that's in good running order that I can pick up for a fair price. Will the 2000 4.3 work in my 1999 with no issues?

Thank you

Tim

Yep. Just check the oil pan to be sure its the same as yours, check the knock sensor and you will probably have to swap intakes. I am putting an '05 in mine in about twenty minutes. Had to swap a few things over. Its ready now.

No problem. Just so you know, if the knock sensor is different, you will need a 1/4 pipe tap and a 7/16 drill bit to drill out the hole. Real easy.
