Default Cranks starts stalls help?

Alright peoples, got a 04 gmc jimmy 172000km what it’ll do , start run for a couple seconds stall, everything is pointing to the passlock 2 system now my question is, is it easier to do the passlock 2 bypass or just change the key switch I’ve had this issue for a while thought at first it was the fuel pump replaced it with a new one twice changed the plugs coil wires cap and rotor and still the same issue disconnected the battery for about 10-15 and it’ll start fine most times

That sounds like a bad ignition module. Itll fail intermittently for a while then just quit in the middle of the busiest intersection in town.
Put a timing light on the coil wire and see if the light goes out while the engines still turning

Yeah it’s a odd issue at first I thought maybe it was the remote start because it’s after market but even with disconnecting that it’s still doing it unfortunately going to replace the iCm and see what happens whenever I get the chance

Mine did the same thing. Run for a few seconds then stall. go back 20 mins later start and run like nothing happened. Turns out it was the start of spider going bad.
