Alright gents,

Need some help on some identifications. I’m seeing the intake manifold on my 1987 K5 Blazer 4x4 as a lighter blue color. But everywhere I read, it says 1982 was the last year of blue engine blocks. Anyone have any definitive information on what the 1987 block paint color should be?

Also, im seeing a few engine block casting numbers and wanting some information on them if you know what they are:

“683” and “16S”
