Engine hard to start?
Hey guys I have a 1997 blazer LS that is hard to start after it has set a while. After the fuel system primes up it still takes several revolutions to hit and it will start every time. The fuel pressure at an idle in park and drive is 60 psi. When I shut off the engine it holds at 60 for about 2-4 seconds and then falls to zero instantly.Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator to me but I am curious to know you guys thoughts. Also I may add that the engine surges when on the highway at times. If you try to restart it after it has run it will start easier but not right.I try to tell my wife to cycle the key a few times before starting but you know how that goes
.Does this sound like the spider or the regulator? Please help before she burns the starter up on this thing.
