engine knock

i have a 1996 blazer with the 4.3, it just started knocking the other day, when the motor is cold it doesnt knock but when it warms up and starts to knock, what can i do to get it to stop or what is the problem,

What does your oil pressure look like? Cold and warm.

when its cold it is about 60 when itswarm it stays in between 20-40, when its idling warm it stays in between 0-20

If it gets that low I would say the bearings are toast. Do an oil dump and see if there is metal in the drain plug or in the oil.

Oil inspection as suggested should be step 1.

I was amazed at what I found in mt oil and the pan after I pulled my engine. Nasty stuff.
