Default Engine Rebuild

Well it is that time...

Has anyone done a engine rebuild on the 96 4.3L vin-W engines? Need to know if it is easier buying the rebuild kit or buying in parts... this is an idea of what i am looking for...

http://www.rpmmachine.com/shop/html/...build-Kit.html

Also if the heads need to be bored out, what would begood size to bore the cylinders? also should i stay at the standard size for the rod and main berings or should i go bigger?

I will take any and all advice, suggestions etc

Default RE: Engine Rebuild

I rebuilt mine. We decided not to bore anything but we did do a polish on the heads and crank with heavy duty crack bearings.
