Engine Swap
I'm thinking about swapping a 4.3 engine in a 1992 S-10 Blazer, with a 2.8 out of a 1991 S-10 truck. I would like to know if this is possible? Does anyone know if the Trannies are the same?

Well, this has to be a first...
No, the transmissions are not the same. The 2.8L is a 60* v6 which has a much narrower bolt pattern on the bellhousing than the 4.3L 90* v6 which shares its bolt pattern with the Chevy V8s.
