Default engine turns but no spark

hey guys ive got a 1999 blazer with 4.3l vortex v6 lump UK spec and i had a problem with the central locking remote they didn't want to know the car and i could not override the codes for the security system, however after some research i managed to re sync the remote to the car and the security light goes off but i have no spark ?? ive replaced the coil and took the dizzy cap off and cleaned all the point and put it back together but i have no luck the fuel pump seems ok and can be heard when the ignition is turned on could anyone help please thanks

i checked everything from the link ( https://blazerforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45942)but still no spark as the problem occoured originally form the cars securty system could there still be a fault with it? and is there anyway i could bypass the system ?

however the only thing i didnt do was Replace distributor rotor and the cap gave them a good clean tho

idk if a 99 still uses it mine was a crank no start a while ago the guys at work helped me diag it found the ignition control module fried, its in the distributor held down by two bolts and a two wire plug on mine at least if urs has this make sure u tighten those bolts before trying to start it cause it grounds thru the base of the module and will short out again good luck mine was a 94 cpi motor
