I have a 1993 s10 blazer that the engine started knocking so I am going to have to do something, and was wondering if there is an engine that is bigger that will work with the transmission and everything I dont want to do to much altering, any ideas?

 

"to much much altering" Not really. if you had a tbi, a 5.7 tbi swap is pretty easy. Unless you have $1500 and some mechanical skills i wouldn't look into anything but a direct replacement. If you swapped into a v8 (why anything else?) you got computer,wiring and fuel delivery to deal with. tbi just about plugs in. (if you already had tbi)
