Wife thought she could change her own oil.....yeah great job.....insteed of 4 quarts of oil she put in 6 quarts of oil.....then she drove it to work and when she tried to start it to come home it wont start.....anyone have any idea what went wrong? Anything will do.....I would think maybe oil got by the rings and got into the cylinder and got the spark plugs wet....now it wont fire......what do you guys think? Thank you all!

 

2 extra quarts of oil shouldnt cause ano start condition. check to see if you have fuel and spark and lat us know.

 

When you key on do you hear the fuel pump prime up, I agree you need to check for spark, and also fuel pressure. More info on your vehicle would also be helpful
