The fuel tank fill neck rots away and the truck smells like gas and throws an evap code. It's so common auto part stores keep them in stock.

Haven't seen a code but I'll start there. Thanks Rusty!

It's also fairly common to seep a little gas around the fuel pump module on the top of the gas tank when it's filled up all the way. Is it worse after you fill up?

To answer your question no. It's sporadic. Smelled gas the other day with just over 1/4 tank. One time it's bad then I won't smell it for a few days. Full or low doesn't seem to matter. Never let it get under 1/4 tank...
