Default fuel pressure

I am putting a new engine in my S10 4 x 4. I had a 1984 2.8 V6 in it and I found a good 1988 2.8 V6. The problem I have is my old one was had a carburator so I changed this one over to a carburator so I wouldn't have to get a new computer, etc. There is no place for a fuel pump on the block so the guy at Advance Auto parts sold me a electric fuel pump but I don't know what to set the fuel pump pressure to. Can anybody help me out? Thanks

Default RE: fuel pressure

It should be between 9 and 13 PSI..I'd set it at 10 and see how it goes.
