fuel pressure bad typically on start up?
first off I need to replace the fuel filter...
but mainly when I just start up and go to take off accelerating normally, and gradually even to like 25 miles an hour
it's just nope, revs up to almost 3500-4000rpms and it should be accelerating accordingly but I wont go faster than 12-15mph...
maybe fuel pump? i dunno
never experienced it before...
and on a side note, when going to pass or actually having to accelerate i don't know if its a typical blazer thing for there to be so much lag in acceleration, rpms go but mphs dont.
I wish I could drive a perfect blazer to feel the difference
sorry for the book

i might have been exaggerating about how high it's reving...the engine just sounds like it's blowing really hard when accelerating, but at this point I honestly wanna say its the fuel pump going bad..
cuz now it just kinda sputters, but only after it's sat for a bit, I can't tell if it's bad when accelerating on the highway, but like after 50mph it just kinda dogs it.
its a 2000

That should help ya out. Do a fuel pressure and leakdown test

I had a similar problem with crazy hesitation under acceleration and I assumed it was fuel related. I played parts roulette and replaced the pump, filter, MAF, EGR, TPS, cap/rotor, plugs, wires... and finally it turned out to be the coil pack. GOOD LUCK!
