Default Gear Driven Timing chain?

Does anyone know of a place where i can get a gear driven timing chain for a 2.8 litre blazer??

I think it would have to be custom. I do not think there is anything like that available for the 2putt8.

I don't know if there is one available for the 4.3L either. It would depend on what year the 4.3L is. The newer ones have a balance shaft which would likely have to be removed to allow for using a gear drive from a v8. And then that would depend on whether there was room to run a gear drive under a stock timing cover.

Why would you want to run a gear drive?

You don't want a gear drive on anything, they are bad about transferring harmonics to the valve train and prematurely wearing parts. About the best choice is a belt drive but they don't last as long as chains. Pro racers have gotten away from the gear drives years ago and went to belts.

And I'd take a v6 that was designed as such over an afterthought v8 with 2 cylinders chopped off any day of the week.
