Maybe the starter is just dirty. I'm pretty sure that is part of my slow cranking also.

New battery!cold hard start Problem solved!?!?! I had it checked twice same results. They said it was ok. Went through old receipts and the batt was 5 yrs old. So it was due and bam first crank every time. Still have not figured out the bogging down losing power problem. Going to search around Nd if need be start a thread. Thank you all for the tips and advice

Shane---Thanks for your up date on the problem/solution! That is very helpful to the forum because others are having similar problems or will have eventually. I may have to buy a new battery soon. Thanks!

 

Jim no problem man! I have come across so many threads with dead ends. It's super annoying but at the same time I've learned a lot about my blazer just from lurking around on here! I'm glad to have helped as you all have helped me and it will continue to lurk on a daily basis. Thanks again
