Default heater hose water leak.

hello,

I'm having a problem with the heater hose(or whatever it's name is) which comes out of the engine from the right side of the distributer cap... it keeps leaking water. so i'm trying to find it's exact name of it. and if someone knows how it is connected to the engine or how it can be removed and replaced.
again, i'm not sure of it's name or place, so please help.

Thanks.

Heater hose is the proper name, however it doesnt come out of the engine by the distributor, it comes from tyour heater core inside the truck.

if theres slack you can just cut the end off and slide it back on and retighten it. just becareful yanking it off that heater core is a big project, dont break it

What he said.

Give it a slice lengthwise with a razor and peel it off the heater core pipe. Squirt some WD-40 inside the end of the hose and on the fitting it attaches to to slide it on easier. No yanking and pushing, that could spell trouble.
