Default Help tranny problem?

Well on my 97 with only 67k on her is having some problems, I just got back from a 40 mile drive, and when i got almost got back to my house (about 100 yards away from my driveway) I have no take off, When i hit the gas you hear to motor reving up but there is a very slow take off. I cant even make up a little hill right now. But in reverse it seems fine. Any ideas what may be the problem? Thanks, Kane
*edit*
I have tried searching but havent found nothing like this, from a dead take off

Fluid level is very important. Check it with the transmission warm, engine running, located on a flat level surface.

Time to replace the valve body. You might want to go with TransGo and improve your shifting while you're at it by changing the servos.

Nope that wasnt the problem, it turns out where i plugged my CB radio into drew too much power from the what ever is electric in the tranny, so it didnt it to work right, the man who was working on it very impressed that a teenager even had a CB in their truck, rewired it and grounded it inside the dash and drew power from a better spot. So problem solved!
