is it like a fuel pump hum? My friend has a noise in the pedal and it was the wheel bearings echoing into it. if its stalling, check fuel pressure with a fuel kit (at autozone etc,its free with retail deposit, ask about the loan program) its gotta be 60 at key on,and hold for 10 min.

check your throttle cable under the hood to make sure its not resting on anything. ive actually seen them rest against the pcv valve which will cause a humming noise inside the truck
