Default Locate a Detent TV Cable

I have had a serious problem locating a TV/Detent/Kick down cable for my 1991 4.3L 700r t10 Blazer. Got one from Rock Auto only to discover that after talking to their supplier ATP that ATP has nothing that will work. (The diameter of the shaft going into the transmission is too small on all their listings). The tech at ATP gave me a number for Lokar, who could make one from the original...but that would take forever.

Could someone give a list of suppliers I could contact? It would be greatly appreciated.

Autozone would be my first stop.

If they don't have it, this place will.

Default RE: Locate a Detent TV Cable

Well I Kentucky Hillybillyengineered a cable from part of the old, part of one from one of my excess truck parts, and the new one from Rock Auto. Basically used 1/4" compression coupling and cut two cables spicing them together, then using the original wireline with the new T connection from Rock Auto cable. T connection had to be drilled out for a larger wire cable and Throttle Body had to be drilled out to hold the new larger T connector.

Glad that's over!
