Hey guys,
I have a 99 4.3 LT and I'm having problems with a rattle when the auto box is pout in any gear and it stops when its in N or P?? I have had lots of problems with the 4x4 with the light coming up and having to select 2wh so the car actually moves! But there is this rattle noise?? Any Ideas?

Sounds like something is amiss in the transfer case. Do you have the 3-button or 4-button switch on the dash? You can test the switch in either case, but they are quite different.
