I need a little help i have a 1995 GMC Jimmy SLT with a 4.3 vortec, I was told that the 8th digit in my vin was the engine code, The 8th digit in the vin on the ownerships is W,
I had friends and others tell me that a 95 is a wierd model and different from all others.... I had one guy try to say the 95's didnt come with a crak sensor or a cam sensor,

My question is:
I am in need of a new motor, what years can I get an engine from
And what will have to be modified..
