hi My 1995 s10blazer LS ..........A couple weeks ago i blew the oil cooler line - stopped the engine right away,towed it home and replaced the lines and now I just started hearing a noise that sounds like a loose spark plug on the passenger bank but no plugs are loose. Plugging the tailpipe holding a rag didn't really change the............... let's call it a puffing noise...... Anyone know of anything common that could cause this noise? It really seems cylinder related in its timing and it isn't too loud.(loud enuf tho)
I am hoping i didn't damage an exhaust valve! next comes the compression test but it still runs very good. This engine has 90,000 on it. I got it with 80,000 and had to do the FPR + EGR GASKET but it has run good for the 10,000 since then.
