Default no start

i just picked up a 2000 s10 with the 4.3 for very cheap they said it got to much fuel. so i couldnt even get it to start would crank all day long but i never had it crank from just the battery it was dead so i hooked it up to my diesel. now i changed cap and rotor, plugs , wires were new, and a battery, it wouldnt start off the new battery so i jumped it, ran fine blew the cobbs out and got it warmed up. but sometimes if i shut it off it will turn very slow sometimes it would start now it will not. 12v at batt off 14 while running. so im assuming my starter is out? it will dim all of the lights while tring to turn over. thank you

Check your connections from battery to starter as well as ground. It happened like that before on a friends truck and it turned out just needed the connections cleaned.

PO stated that it had too much fuel causing no start issue - try cranking it over by hand make sure it's not seized or in the process of seizing up - fuel might have washed by the rings and you might have lost a bearing - you might have to pull the plugs to make it easyer to turn over
