Default oil clog and tapping

i am kinda lost. i did a oil change today and when i was done the engine started to tap. i had lifters replace about six months ago. it sounded fine before the oil change. but i drove from philadelphia to lancaster. when i was half way there the truck started acting wierd like at 80mph if i slam the gas it didnt want to go faster. but when i got off the highway thats when i noticed the tapping. so when i got home i pulled the valve covers off to check the rocker arms. the funny thing is the left side looking at the engine looked new but very well oiled. the right side looked like it bearley had any oil maybe a thin coat of it but not alot like the left side. i just dont where to go from here? please help someone

When you did the lifter replacement-is that all you did? Are you the 1st ower? If so, have you been keeping up with your oil changes? It sounds like you have a blocked oil passage.

Run a can of seafoam or marvel mystery oil through, read the directions on the can and hopefully it will help you out. They are both said to work wonders though! Should be easily had at any auto parts store.

If that doesn't work, you may end up having to do a top-end rebuild. You aren't stationed near Jacksonville, are you? If so, I know of an AWESOME shop you can go to.
