Oil pressure drops on idle
#11
So some how since my last oil change, my oil filter came loose. Not sure if that was the reason behind the fluctuation between levels, but since I did the oil change my pressure issue was solved.

Nice you fixed it
Filters should have a bypass which opens when pressure rises above a threshold to keep the system lubricated despite a blocked filter.
One of the reasons why I would rather change only the filter than only the oil (if I ever had to...). It would circulate all the dirt in the system.
With issues on oil pressure I would in any case drop the old oil into a pan where you can check it afterwards in order to make sure it has not been diluted by any other liquid. (water / fuel)

I got myself a 20$ oil change container for when I do my oil changed, so I'm always checking it when coming out. But I haven't filtered it to check if anything missed my eye. Oil and filter are always done at the same time and the air filter every second to third time for me.

I'm sorry but none of this makes any sense. If the oil filter plugs, the oil simply bypasses the filter through the oil filter BYPASS valve. If the oil filter is leaking so much that the pressure is low, then all of your oil is leaked out quickly. I think nothing is solved and will repeat. Did you change the oil and filter with 5W30? Was you old oil diluted with gas or something else? Was your engine particularly warmed up when the oil pressure was low? Was it idling particularly slow when the oil pressure was low?

Oil variance happened while driving. To the look of it when coming out, it did not look diluted. The levels where low on emptying her. Other then that my levels are regular and yes 5w30.
also idle levels stayed regular during oil pressure issues

I suppose if oil level was low, that could cause the oil to be hotter. A lot of cooling is done through the oil. Just searching for something that makes sense,
