Check to see if your throttle or cruise cables are resting on the line from the PCV valve to the intake manifold.

I just replaced mine and the new one does the same thing. It's no problem, just a little annoying.

Regards,

Thomas

Thank you swartlkk - the throttle cable was transmitting vibration into the passenger compartment- 100% improvement. I,m L1 A8 but this one had me baffled.

OK I am willing to bet I have the same problem here with th PCV valve line rubbing, but what exactly is the remedy to fix the rubbing? It looks like a replacement for one earlier post worked. Thanks.

I guess what I mean is, do you have to zip tie the cables to prevent the rubbing in the future? Is replacing the PCV valve going to help at all (I've hear that if you take it out and it rattles when shaken it's fine)?
I also noticed when idling, if I move the gas pedal up from the bottom it changes the noise as well or revving the engine to a certain RPM.

I had a buzzing noise under the dash and it was the throttle cable touching the pcv line. A quick wire tie on the pcv line eliminated the noise. Thanks
