I have a 2004 V-6 4.3 Liter Blazer and recently it has been giving me some issues. After it has been driven for a bit and heats up when I go to stop the engine will start to shudder, and a few times when I go to move after a complete stop the engine shudders and it hesitates before moving.

There was a few days a month or two ago when I was driving the car would sort of have a slipping feeling and it would stop. it hasn't done that in a while though. Could the two issues be related?

I'll be going out and checking the transmission levels in a bit but I wanted a few options to check while under the hood.

 

oh and I noticed when it does start to shudder the oil gauge starts to fluctuate.
