Default Problem with truck stuttering

I have a 96 blazer 4x4 with the 4.3 vortec. The other week I was driving to work an after about 20 min it sputtered twice. It always seems to happen when I'm going around 50mph an after about 20 min if driving. But after it would stutter it would run fine it I went a little faster or slower. Thinking I could be fuel related I changed the fuel filter an pump an it didn't solve the problem. I drive it to work yesterday an it ran fine on the way there but on the way home after 15-20 min it did it again. This time I had a window down an it sounded like something was gonna break off from underneath the truck the stutter was so hard. But after it did it that one time it ran great. I am really stumped. Any help would be great.

So on my way to work today it started to sputter after only 3 min of driving gave it a little more gas an it went away. I stopped at a store before I got to work an when I came out an started it up immediately I got a p0340 code. An every time I came to complete stop an gave it gas it lagged for a second that would take off. So I guess tomorrow I'm gonna look at the camshaft position sensor an see if its bad.

If the car is stuttering, you may want to take it to a speech therapist Really though, have you done any work recently where you may have disconnected the connector from the CPS? When I did my intake manifold gaskets I forgot to reconnect those and had the same problem. Once I reconnected it, I was all good.

I will have to check it when I get out if work tonight. I haven't done anything where I had to disconnect it.
