replaced spider and everything got worse!

dont swap it till you clean it. They normally just get dirty. grab your wifes toothbrush and a can of brake cleaner and clean the pintle inside it etc. you can get a lil rough with it. its not fragile.

thats exactly what it was, and thanks for clearing that up, i swapped the egr, and she runs again, not much better then the day i bought it but definitly better then yesterday, still runs a little rough, next week im giong to do plugs and distribute r which should prolly be done anyway.... thanks for the help folks.

when you get the distributor cap,get the brass ones,better quality against corrosion. as for the pcv valve being loose theres a rubber grommet it goes into. its got a ridge on both sides and it "snaps" into place on the valve cover.
