rough idle

Default rough idle

1995 blazer, 4.3 , 4x4, idles real rough. runs ok on the road. hasnt died yet at idle , but has come close. smells rich , i replaced the computer. still the same ????????????????

Test your fuel pressure. Specifically watch it after the pump shuts off.

It is very likely that you have a fuel leak internal to the intake plenum.

fuel press. is within rec. factory specs. i was woundering about the E G R valve ?

The EGR is another possibility. Remove, clean, and reinstall with a new gasket. Preferably one with a screened inlet.
