I recently had my transmission rebuilt and replaced the neutral safety switch as well but now I’m having an issue.

I can’t get it to shift into park. Well….

the transmission goes into park but it says reverse on the dash.

I tried to adjust the neutral safety switch but it doesn’t seem to change the displayed gear when I turn the switch either way.

it does change when the shifter is moved to another gear though. Any thoughts how I can get this right?
