If the head is stripped cant you put a Heli Coil in it? lots easier than getting a new head.

Edit: dont pay attention to what i just said, lol thats a bad idea. If it comes down to it which hopefully it wont, you can tap the head. You have to turn the motor over until the piston is level with the spark plug hole and with the exhaust valve open. then do the tapping procedure and after you are done vacuum it out with a small tube, then after that blow air in at about 100PSI to blow anything else out the exhaust. a few small pieces of metal is better in the cat than the rings. but like i said hopefully you wont have to do that.

I've heard bad things about heli coils in the past. I may do that (if needed) as a temporary thing, but I wouldn't trust it as a permanent solution.
