Strange Rythmic Ticking sound - NEED HELP!

Hey at the end what was the problem? The balance shaft?

His ended up being mains at this point I just bought a motor I am gonna tear into the old one and see what the issue was just as time allows working a lot right now

I have the same sound but I have an exhaust leak at the gasket between the manifold and collector pipe. I hope thats the source of my tick and dont have to pull the motor

I was thinking that's what mine was but I ended up pulling the motor and replacing it myself. I saw some copper shavings in my oil when I drained it and found that I had spun a rod bearing. Probably not the news you were looking for but I hope it's just your exhaust manifold leaking.
