Oh yeah, I got you. That makes sense. Any time the cylinder doesn't fire properly and pushes the oxygen past the O2 it's going to show lean no matter the issue. One thing I've yet to improve on is actually reading data as this. Could you suggest any material to read on it?

Wow, I feel dumb. I completely forgot there was an option to select 3rd gear on the floor shift.

But, I didn't get a chance to get to it last night. But, I will run it tonight for probably 2 or 3 minutes down the highway and post up some 30 sec. frames.

As for the misfire counter, never seen a scanner with live data that doesn't do it, lol, but don't see it on this software. So, I will download another one tonight before I go on my run.

In other news, I ran some fuel injector cleaner at the beginning of the week and now I'm up to 14-15 hwy running 75mph with all the hills. Not too bad, but she's still running lean for sure.

Okay, so here are the STFT's and LTFT's in 30 sec. intervals. Third gear, as close to 2500 rpm's I could stay with hills and no cruise control lol.

Still no misfire counters yet, but I will get some posted up tomorrow since I'll be off work. Currently having to look into an issue with a possible cracked flywheel. Oh fun.

I'm not seeing any problem here.

Cracked flex plate can cause problems with misfire detection, but not cause a misfire. Hmm....

I've ruled out the cracked flex plate. It's definitely a torque converter. 60MPH+ and the shutter is crazy, clacking loud as well. May be my issue.

Hey man, I'm going to bother your advice one more time, lol. Just need a second opinion here..

It's been a while since I've worked on the Blazer, just got done pulling an engine and tranny out of an Astro, mainly for the torque converter at the moment. But, if you would, take a listen to this video, this is what my TC sounds like between 55-65mph. It has a little noise between 30-40mph, and whirs a little at start up and really, really bad shutter. I've just never heard one make a sound this bad. In person it has a deeper tone and literally feels as if something is going to shoot through the tranny tunnel. Inspected flywheel, no low rpm noise, and no cracking noticed, idle is fine and smooth, so don't believe it's bottom end. TC bolts are tight.

Have you ever heard one make this noise? Sounds as if it isn't locking up. Which could be an ignition feed issue.. been having the radio and headlights (daytime running lamps still work) randomly go off.
