ticking noise help!

Exclamation ticking noise help!

Ok heres whats up.. I have a 94 yukon and just had my trans built (4l60E).. after i put it back in i noticed a ticking noise coming from the left side of the trans hump on the floorboard under the dash. It does it when in park or drive and changes with the speed of the engine. any help would be appreciated! thanks for reading guys!

Possibly a cracked flex plate?

Default hmm...

what could have caused that? could i have over tightend the TC?

Fatigue is the most common cause of flex plate failures. Some can last forever while others fail for no apparent reason.

Well the flexplate never crossed my mind. Thanks! ill have to pull the cover and see if I can find anything. Ill let you know how it goes! Take it easy!
