Ticking from rear lower engine.

Ok, so i've done my research as I always do online and haven't really found a clear answer to my problem. I'm hoping for the best but don't know. When Idling i can hear a slight ticking noise coming from the bottom rear of my engine, near where the tranny and engine come together. I can hear it on both sides of the truck when I put my face down low, but the bulk of the sound is coming from the starter area. My oil pressure is fine, and the truck idles well, and runs awesome. I was wondering if a tiny hole in the exhaust couldl cause this tick. I dont' think it's a lifter because the noise isn't coming from there. Truck is in the signature.
I'm just hoping its not the main bearings. It's' not even that loud and you can barely hear it when standing in the front of the truck when it's idling. Can't even hear it when driving down the road, but my glasspack might drown out the sound of it but I doubt it.

Could be a manifold to y pipe leak. Also could be a cracked or bent flywheel. Had one before. Sounded like a rod knock

Ok, so my dad started up his 2001 Chevy suburban and it does the same thing. Original owner, never beaten on. So I'm not too concerned about it. Should I be? Shouldn't cause any damage to the engine?

Could be an exhaust leak. Could be a cracked flex plate. Could be...

My flexplate ( I always call them flywheels for some reason) was totally busted in half. The middle was seperated from the rest and it still ran. What caused it was the transmission bolts coming loose
