2001 Bravada transmission shot. So time to replace, or rebuild. Just wodering if anyone know if the junked out 99 firebird 6 cyl, auto I have out back would have the same trans as my 01 bravada.The firebird only has about 30 k on the clock, and would be great if they will trade easily. I'm pretty sure they are both 4l60e but would everything else work out? any help would be great.

 

Being 2wd (the firebird that is), you would have to rip the guts out of it to swap tail shafts so that you could mate it up to the transfer case in your bravada. It likely would work if it were the 4L60E. Being a car v6, it likely is a 60* v engine which would mean that you would also have to swap over the bell housing.
