Default tranny swap

I have a 95 Blazer and a 97 Blazer parts truck both with 4.3 litre 265 cubic & the factory tranny (not sure yet of model number of trannys). Will the 97 swap into the 95?

You will have to check the transmission cases. I think it was sometime in late '97 when GM switched to the 2 peice transmission case which had a separate bell housing. If the engine has a steel oil pan, you should be able to swap them. If it has an aluminum oil pan and a full bell housing, then it may not be possible...
