Last night it was running and driving good then I gave it a little peddle hers a clunk and lost all forward gears but reverse is fine I’m guessing the tranny is toads but is their anyting to try?

I pulled the fuse and now I have 3 gear, is the tranny toast or should I try something befor I junk it?

Very doable for someone that has had some mechanical experience. Going to need A few tools as far as hand tools 2-3 ft extension, swivel sockets if you have the will make the job a little easier. You need a way to support and lower transmission. The plug on the neural safety switch will need to be heated at the connector.s with heat gun or lay a drop light next to it for a while to soften the sealer so you don’t break the switch. Be sure to flush cooler lines and cooler in radiator and external cooler if equipped. Torque converter has to be completely seated in pump or major damage will be done. That’s just the minimum of things to do. Good luck.

Are the blazers transmissions interchangeable? Like would a 95 or 99 transmission fit in a 97?

I just read something about a key won’t come out of the ignition switch and he had no forward gears, I have the same problem my get is stuck and I have no forward gears, I only have 3 if I pull the tranny fuse, could it just be the ignition switch??? Thank you
